  • More Info on Buying Spanish Wine

So now that you have learned all about Spanish wine, the question is, where can you buy it? to start off, don't bother looking in your super-market, they usually carry a small selection of table wines that are just meant to be consumed with food and offer little excitement. You have to look for wine specialty stores around your area. Either look in the yellow pages or browse online to locate a store near you. Specialty wine stores usually carry anything from 1000 to 3000 different selections from all over the world, and offer you plenty of choices to choose from when it comes to Spanish wine. At these type of stores, most people that work there are educated in wine and will be able to assist you with any questions you may have, including what type of wine you are looking for, how it taste, and if its in your price range. Don't be afraid to ask any questions, no question is to silly for them.

Another great way to find Spanish wine is online, there are tons of online wine super-stores that ship out to most of the country. Usually these websites are from specialty wine stores from around the country, that are selling their wines online as well. When shopping online, you will find the greatest selection and you can browse through different stores to find the lowest price available. The only down fall? you have to pay for shipping, and it usually cost around $36 for a case of 12 bottles, however, most stores will not charge you tax if your order is shipping to a different state than their store, and that can save you a ton of money, especially when you are buying expensive wine.

Before purchasing any wine, we recommend that you invest in a wine fridge. You can usually buy a 32 bottle wine fridge for around $250. You can buy these at wine stores or online. Remember that you have to treat wine like food, if you leave a piece of chicken out of the fridge, it will go bad and rot, same with wine, it must be properly stored, even if you plan to drink within a couple of weeks.
